Kia Ora Sophie,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.
I’m doing great too! Just commenting on some amazing blog posts to kick off the Summer Learning Journey! I like how you’ve engaged your readers in such a clever way by asking them how they are!
I really like your recolour of the Wave. I think the blues you have used emphasise the pinkness of the boats quite nicely! They stand out far more in your painting than the original because of the contrast you have created. It’s amazing!
Have you ever seen waves like the one you coloured? I have! When I used to live in Australia, it was so hot that my family would have to go to the beach all the time to cool down and they have waves there a bit like this one. There were lots of other cool things too! Shells, seagulls, and I even saw some jellyfish! What do you think you’d see in the waves in the ocean?
We’re very excited for you to participate in the Summer Learning Journey! What sorts of activities are you most excited for?
Ka kite anō,
Shannon (SLJ)

It wasn't until I read your post that I even saw the boats.I just thought it was a picture of waves.Just goes to show how observant I am.(ha ha)
I like your colour choice. The colours work well together.
I'm glad you kept the boats the same colour-now I can see them :)
Have a wonderful holiday and Christmas.
