Here it is
Kia ora Sophie,
ReplyDeleteWow, I’m blown away by your outstanding blog post which is amazing! I like how you included pictures like a clock and the new year title of 2021! Your post is super informative and clear. Ka pai!
How did you choose all the languages you chose? Are you looking forward to 2021?
For New Years, my family normally has a big bonfire at the beach where we set off some fireworks and roast marshmallows! What does your family do?
Perhaps, for extra points, you could screencastify yourself saying Happy New Year in these languages!
Keep up the incredible work!
Ka kite anō,
Shannon (SLJ)
Hi Sophie,
ReplyDeleteIt's so awesome to see you posting! I have been thinking about you over the holidays and hope you have been doing well and keeping up with your chart at home! Hope your room is looking all sparkly and fresh for the new year... did you rearrange it when you put up your TV?
On new year's day we had a party at my dad's place. We have a big oak tree in the front garden and it has two swings and a large climbing rope. My dad made a big obstacle course for all the kids. ( My nieces and nephews and friends children too) We didn't have any fireworks though.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Mrs T :)
P.S I love how you used Spanish and Irish in the selection of languages!
Good morning Sophie.
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing.I know that if I was in the country that these languages were from, then I would understand them.
I think spelling them would be bad enough but having to pronounce them-OH MY GOODNESS!.
It's great that we have family around to help-I often ask Sam for answers as I don't always know it.
I wonder if their celebrations are different to ours.Maybe this is something you could check out.
I just thought I would check to see if you had completed any more of the SLJ activities.
How are your holidays going?.
Have you been doing anything interesting?.
Samantha and I are hoping to go to Willowbank tomorrow to feed the lemurs.
